Where did all the nerds go? Benjamin Stein raises in interesting question. I think places like Arduino and Processing are new hotspots where interesting stuff is happening. Places where openness is still a high value. I think we need these counterparts to our fast growing, online, mainstream, blackbox, media-consuming culture.
